The car industry has been changing for years. I grew up in a “car house,” as my parents owned an auto recycling industry for the past 23 years, so I have seen the changes. The price of scrap metal has gone down, and now so have the prices of cars themselves. We have entered a time when buying a car is not as much of a hardship because of slashed prices.
